Become a VET Trainer:
Share your skills and shape futures…

With growing demand for qualified VET trainers in secondary schools, the SMRVC encourages experienced tradespeople to consider transitioning into education.

Becoming a VET teacher offers an opportunity to share industry expertise with young people, influence future career paths, and enjoy the benefits of working in a dynamic and supportive school environment.

If you have experience in areas such as construction, engineering, hospitality, business, health, early childhood, or creative industries, you may be eligible to undertake a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and begin teaching VET in a secondary setting.

Becoming a VET teacher in the Sunbury Macedon Ranges region is a meaningful way to support students, build a rewarding career, and contribute to the future of the local workforce.
